What happens in a Supervision
session?

In our first session we would typically establish the working parameters of our supervisory relationship and then explore your current ministry context, role and responsibilities.

Subsequent sessions focus on issues impacting on your pastoral role that you choose to bring to the session.

Is Professional Supervision
confidential?

Professional supervision services are treated with the strictest confidence. As a Professional Supervisor, Neville adheres to the Policies, Values, Guiding Principles and Professional Standards for Ethical Practice of the Australasian Association of Supervision. Neville ensures that session records
are securely held in accordance with Privacy legislation.

How often should I attend
Supervision?

It is important to choose a session frequency that aligns with your needs. For most people, monthly sessions or a session every 5-6 weeks is appropriate, while others may benefit from weekly or fortnightly sessions for ongoing support and practice development. It is important that the frequency allows for in-depth discussion, deeper exploration of challenges, and refection on practice.

How do I pay for Supervision?

After your session, you will be emailed an invoice, with payment due within 14 days. Payment is made via direct debit.

Will my employer pay for my Supervision sessions?

Most employers will pay for their employees’ Supervision as part of their Professional Development program. Please check with your employer for their specific arrangements.

Can supervision with Neville count towards my denomination’s accreditation requirements?

Yes. Neville is a qualified and accredited Professional Supervisor, and a Supervisor Member of the Australasian Association of Supervision.
The invoice you receive can usually be used as proof of your supervision hours, or Neville can provide other proof as required by your particular denomination.

What if I need to change my
appointment time?

Just contact Nev. Neville will always do his best to accommodate you. Please give a minimum
of 24 hours’ notice to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.
